Gatwick

We got to Gatwick OK, booked into the Bloc Hotel within South Terminal so only a few yards to go in the morning. So far so good.

Preparation

Two days to go and as if getting to Cuba wasn't complicated enough Peter has elected to run the yanqui blockade by taking a suitcase full of bike parts and accessories for the guy from whom we hope to rent bikes. Peter had asked whether it was a good idea to bring some things as we heard they were sometimes hard to come by. In response we got a long shopping list which Peter has managed to buy, or in some cases beg off kindly bike shops or mates. The only remaining problem is weight - oh and maybe customs and airline security
